Time is a Funny Thing....

Its been a while since ive been on here. Why? You might ask, because I have been rebuilding my life for the past year. I moved from Indiana spur of the moment about a year and a half ago. I needed change, growth, and most of all humility. Yes, the beginning of this post is pretty real, but its the truth. THAT is what I am about. I have always had a gift for being, sometimes, a little too honest but I think I finally found a proper way for me to express my opinions and thoughts. Music. I have always been obsessed with music, if your like me its how I got through my life to right now. Music is always there, and still is an outlet, a way to escape from the uneccesary complexity of the world. Growing up I would listen to rap and rock like I was a son of Marshall Mathers, and Elvis Presley was my cousin. In other words I was obsessed with both before I could even understand the lyrics, similes, and metaphores. Which leads me to where I am today. Im a college student about ready to start up school, again, who has found a new found passion for creating my own style of music. Which is what I plan to bring to this blog. The style is unique to my backround, and kind of different, but I think the world is ready for different. Different has become unique, and unique is beginning to become genius. Im not claiming that I am by all means, I just have a strong passion to create and express myself through music. So, coming soon, within the week, I will be posting a few of my projects I have emersed myself in over the past couple months. I hope you in enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them. Get back to you guys soon!

Shine Black Mamba Shine!!

So you may be wondering what the Black Mamba is. She is a beautiful beast, with sleek features, and an everlasting need for speed. She is my baby. She is my ride. My story with Blacky starts with my arrival here in Utah. When I first moved here I was carless. Lucky for me, my generous brother in law gave me a car to use. Though it needed some slight repairs I was still greatful to be recieving a car. One of the repairs needed to be completed was reataching the passanger side mirror. She was not up to her top swag potential until this repair was completed. The mirror was once before ripped off and repaired, then ripped off again. Some major repairs were in need, along with a steady hand, and a mind like Macgyver. I began my repair by gluing together the base of the mirror, where it connects to the car, which was broken in half along where the screws used to be. I used a plastic adhesive, and Q tips to apply the glue, and just about made it look like new. After the glue dried for about a day, it was time for the second step. I now had to reconnect the mirror to the side of my car. The problem was on the base where the plastic and screws were was warped, so I had to compensate by using a mountian of glue around the seems and around the warped screw holes. It took me about 25 mins to glue and rescrew.
Its been a day since Ive fixed it, and I took my baby out on the freeway yesterday and was greeted with great success. The mirror thus far has remained attached, and hopefully will for an extensive amount of time. Ive posted a picture for you guys to see. In my mind it shows my enginuity and determination to fix things with as little money as possible. It may look a little scrappy now, but im going to cover the glue up with black paint to bring Blacky back to her illuminating shine. Thanks for reading and ill be posting again soon.
